Academic Qualifications

  • Licentiate in Philosophy and Theology in India.
  • M.Sc. (Botany) in the University of Madras.
  • Ph.D. in Moral Theology from the Gregorian University, Rome, in 1977.  His doctoral dissertation was on:  Dharma, Hindu and Christian According to Roberto de Nobili published in Studia Missionalia Series, Gregoriana in 1985.

Member, Organizing Committee for the World Conference of Catholic Theological Ethicists from 2003 till 2006 when the first assembly of the World Conference of Catholic Moral Theologians was held in Padova, Italy in July 2006. Resource Person at 3 Plenary Assemblies and 2 General Assemblies of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC) and presented position papers.
